Salmon Fishing.

The Hampshire Avon is one of the most famous angling waters in the world. At New Forest Shooting and Fishing we are pleased to be able to offer a double salmon rod, i.e. for two people to fish, on four beats of this celebrated river from early February through to the end of July.

These days are eminently suited to the experienced, double-handed rod angler who wishes to try for one of these elusive migrating fish. For the less experienced, we can offer guided days with a qualified coach on your shoulder and, for the complete beginner, we can offer tuition in the double-handed rod from an APGAI coach followed by some practical fishing on one of these truly magnificent beats.

Your visit to these tranquil water meadows will be tailored to suit your requirements and whether you chose to fish alone or with one of our experienced guides we will ensure that your experience with us will be one to cherish.

Equipment, refreshments and even transport to and from the Avon can be provided, if required and we would be pleased to discuss with you the format for your day.
